Reading Corner
We have partnered with Barnes and Nobles to offer the titles that we are reading in your child(rens) classroom. We also have also listed some parent resource books that we find to be helpful.
Join the free-for-all fun at the public library with these book-loving bats! Shape shadows on walls, frolic in the water fountain, and roam the book-filled halls until it's time for everyone, young and old, to settle down into the enchantment of story time. Brian Lies' joyful critters and their nocturnal celebration cast library visits in a new light. Even the youngest of readers will want to join the batty book-fest!
It's Halloween, but Baby can't go trick-or-treating until she finds her special pumpkin! Lift the flaps to reveal sparkly, spooky surprises, and join Baby as she gets ready for a fun-filled, hide-and-seek, touch-and-feel adventure.
Confident and cocky, the Gingerbread Baby happens upon a bakery, where he dances and prances in front of a sugar cookie girl, trying to make friends. But she just stares and doesn't say a word, like all the other sweet treats he tries to meet.
Most children have jumped into piles of leaves or helped their parents rake the yard, and everyone has wondered: Why do leaves change color? Activities that a child can do with leaves and even a list of places known for brilliant fall colors that readers can visit with their families is included.
Addressing the task of disciplining children ages 2 through 12 without arguing, yelling, or spanking, this audio program offers easy-to-follow steps to immediately manage troublesome behavior with reason, patience, and compassion.
Reassuring, down-to-earth, and often flying in the face of conventional wisdom, Secrets of the Baby Whisperer promises parents not only a healthier, happier baby but a more relaxed and happy household as well.
Unnerved by the ceaseless demands of your toddler? Concerned that your two-year-old isn't developing on schedule? You clearly need to spend some time with Tracy Hogg.

At the end of each month an Employee will be featured as the Act of Caring recipient. This Employee will earn an extra vacation day and get to pick a prize
from our new Teacher’s Treasure Chest! It’s full of educational and professional development resources.
To submit and Act simply email us at actofcaring@scribbletime.net with the name of the teacher and the Act of Caring that you witnessed. Thanks for helping us to recognize the wonderful work of our teachers.
